Meet our Warehouse Supervisor, Toni, who holds the reins in our warehouse and oversees everything that comes in and out of our warehouse doors. She is our walking product stock catalogue and the wheels that keeps our team of warehouse girls running (literally) to ensure all our orders go out beautifully wrapped and on customers door steps in record time (she's the best! - see what we did there). Toni is our resident classic car enthusiast, who left her friends and family in her hometown of the Bay of Plenty in her 1967 Mark 2 Cortina to relocate to Auckland for her role here at Dermalogica.
Can you tell us a little about yourself and your role?
This is my second time working at Dermalogica. I first started here about nine years ago, I moved to Auckland from Katikati for a warehouse controller position. After a couple of years I made the decision to move on. It wasn’t long before I missed Dermalogica and now here I am back in the warehouse as the warehouse supervisor. I am involved in picking, packing and dispatching of orders, stock management, shipments, unloading the shipment trucks and general warehouse duties.
Three words that your friends would use to describe you?
Loyal, Altruistic, Supportive

"Our all female staff do everything from driving the forklift to unloading trucks"
What’s the best thing about your role?
No day is the same, every day brings new challenges.
My role is always developing and changing.
Talk us through a day in your life.
Wake up. Get myself organised for the day. Sort out the work/school lunches. Wrangle the dogs outside, head to work for what is usually a busy non-stop day. After work generally consists of general life admin, a walk/play with the dogs, dinner and bed, ready to do it all again the next day.
What’s the biggest challenge in your role?
Time, sometimes there just isn’t enough hours in the day to get everything done
What might people be surprised to know about the Dermalogica warehouse?
We have an all-female staff. We do everything from driving the forklift, unloading trucks, unpacking shipments, stocking the shelves.
How do you relax at the end of the day?
I like to un-wind with my dogs, either taking them out for a ball throw or taking them to a dog park where they can run and play with other dogs.
Or by having some quiet time with a good book.
Best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
The expert in anything was once a beginner, stay focused, stay determined
"I have learn't the importance of a good skin care routine"
“May your past be the sound of your feet upon the ground, Carry on.”
Your biggest skincare concern?
Breakouts and excess oil
One Dermalogica product you couldn’t live without?
This is a hard choice, they are all great! It would either have to be Precleanse or Daily Microfoliant. They both leave my skin feeling super clean and refreshed.
Favourite skincare trick?
Drink lots of water, water has a big influence on the skin.
One thing you have learnt since working for Dermalogica.
The importance of a good skin care routine. I was 20 when I first started with Dermalogica, I didn’t take skincare that seriously. In my time here I have learnt so much and now can’t go a day without my derm regime.
